NeocutisUpheld
Neocutis Bio Cream Firm Riche
A rich cream with a big vocabulary. The moisture is the part you can count on.
- What to check
- No SPF; Neocutis itself says to add a broad-spectrum sunscreen if you use it by day. Patch test before first use.

Used by the editor.
Evidence & details
Rich face cream · 50 ml / 1.69 fl oz · Neocutis says it contains growth factors, proprietary peptides, glycerin, argan oil, borage seed oil and petrolatum · Free of color additives and fragrances · No SPF claim (Neocutis' product page)
- The Claim
- Neocutis says it addresses signs of aging, including uneven tone and texture, wrinkles and sagginess, and supports collagen and elastin production.
- The Evidence
- The ingredient list pairs petrolatum, which seals moisture in, with glycerin, which draws water in, plus ceramides. That supports softer, more comfortable skin. “Supports collagen and elastin production” is a claim, not something you can see on your face.
- Who it's for
- Someone with dry or mature skin who wants a rich, fragrance-free face cream.

Evidence & details
Tinted moisturizer · 1.7 oz / 50 ml · Medium and Deep shades · Natura Bissé says it contains hyaluronic acid, AquaMagnet, a Detox Complex, Fermentus Glaciarum and an antioxidant cocktail · No SPF listed (Natura Bissé's US product page)
- The Claim
- Natura Bissé describes it as an “age-defying tinted moisturizer” that evens skin tone, minimizes visible signs of aging and delivers deep hydration in one step, with “a flattering touch of coverage.”
- The Evidence
- Hyaluronic acid is a humectant: it helps skin look plumper and feel hydrated. The tint is what evens the look of skin tone, and only while you wear it. Natura Bissé's own figure is a self-assessment: 90% of 20 volunteers who applied it daily for 28 days said their complexion felt softer, smoother and well-moisturized. That is what a small group reported, not a measurement.
- Who it's for
- Someone who wants moisturizer and a sheer tint in one step, and wears a separate sunscreen.

The routine that makes the cut
- Gentle cleanser (or just water)
- Antioxidant serum, e.g. vitamin C
- Moisturizer
- Broad-spectrum SPF 30+
- Cleanser
- Retinoid product, a few nights a week to start
- Moisturizer
The Claim
The category sells reversal: lifted, firmed, years taken off. The labels, read closely, promise appearance. Smoother-looking. Brighter-looking. That gap is where most of the money goes.
Read these with suspicion:
- “Clinically proven” with no study named
- “Instant lift” or “Botox in a bottle”
- Peptide blends sold on mystery percentages
- A 10-step routine where 3 steps would do

The Evidence
Skin changes. The industry sells that as an emergency. It isn't. What a routine can do is keep skin moisturized, protected, and looking smoother and more even. Anything that promises to turn back time deserves a second look.
What a label can credibly support:
- Retinol / retinal: helps skin look smoother; start slow, expect some dryness
- Vitamin C: helps skin look brighter
- Humectants like glycerin and hyaluronic acid: help skin look plumper and feel hydrated
- Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen: the least glamorous, most useful step
These are cosmetic effects, stated as plainly as the labels allow. Edit-specific citations are being compiled; until they are published, this section is label-reading guidance, not a review of studies.
Questions
Is it too late to start a routine?
No. Moisturizing and daily sunscreen help skin look and feel better at any age.
Do I need an expensive serum?
Price isn't proof. Look for the ingredient, a sensible concentration, and packaging that protects it.
